A day after Her first meeting with Sri Aurobindo, The Mother wrote in her dairy:
It matters little that there are thousands of beings plunged in the densest ignorance, He whom we saw yesterday is on earth; his presence is enough to prove that a day will come when darkness shall be transformed into light, and Thy reign shall be indeed established upon earth.

O Lord, Divine Builder of this marvel, my heart overflows with joy and gratitude when I think of it, and my hope has no bounds.
My adoration is beyond all words, my reverence is silent.
This is our humble offering in the year-long celebration of Sri Aurobindo’s 150th birth anniversary. May this celebration become an occasion for all those aspiring for a divine life on earth to sincerely look within and reorient their lives once again in the light of the Truth that all life can be yoga.
Whatever is the nature of the offering, when it is made with sincerity it always contains a spark of divine light which can grow into a full sun and illuminate the whole being.
